Best brunch i had it for long time. Delicious side dishes and endless mimosas are good. Lovely meats coming out without stopping better than fogo.
Came to celebrate my husband birthday on a saturday . The staff was very attentive and gracious. The food was amazing and it just kept coming. The grilled pineapple is a must try. The inside is quiet but enjoyable. Don't forget their delicious drink menu
This place is the !!! We went here during the Fourth Of July weekend. I was shocked that we were able to park for free since, there's free parking during the Holidays which is surprising for California!!! Upon entry, we were greeted by the awesome staff! Our waiter was amazing! My pasta dish had just the right seasoning. We had to request bread but it should automatically come out in my opinion The bread was awesome with the oil. Addictive I recommend eating here for a date night, showers, girls night or even for meetings. Perfect spot! I'll definitely keep this on my list whenever I visit again. Easy to locate!
My partner and I visited this Brazilian steakhouse for my birthday, and it was quite an experience. They offer valet parking, which is very convenient. With a reservation, the wait time was less than five minutes. The restaurant has a good vibe. The service was commendable, though I wouldn't classify it as exceptional. The food quality stands out, especially for a Brazilian steakhouse. However, the variety of meats coming from the kitchen was occasionally inconsistent. Despite this minor issue, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Overall, I really like this place and would give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
H&H is one of my favorite Brazilian bbq spots!! I've tried a few different establishments and this place has always got me coming back for more! The flavoring of their meats is delectable and that grilled pineapple, omg My go-to meats are the Picanha, Garlic Pichana, Tri-Tip, Fraldinha, Lamb Leg, and the Chicken Hearts! If you get a chance, try all of the food there! You will definitely not come out hungry I celebrated a birthday party there earlier this year and they were able to accommodate 20+ people! Staff is super nice and attentive! Props to them for helping me get through the night! The ambiance is super nice. Lighting was perfect and I loved the wall of light! If the light gets too bright, the staff can dim it down! Game changer. They also have an outdoor seating area if you want some fresh air! 5/5 will be back again and again!
At a certain level, Brazilian BBQ is just Brazilian BBQ. Sometimes you get lucky and there super great cuts of meat, and sometimes you just get unlucky and you get a not so great one, but you can always wait for the next batch and it'll probably be good again. So overall the taste was as good as I could have hoped for. I would say that my favorite was of course the picanha, but also the filet mignon, tri tip, beef and pork ribs were also good. Their dessert platter was also very delicious. One thing that this place lacked compared to other places is the salad bar. Compared to maybe fogo or Texas de brasil, this salad bar is very subpar. But the reason why I wrote this review was because of the service. We had a 15 person party and there was a lot to do. Some places when they have a set gratuity + benefits fee for a large party, you pay while grinding your teeth because the service was just subpar but you're already locked in. The service here was absolutely phenomenal. At a certain point during the night I was contemplating whether to add onto the already set 22% (18+4) gratuity + benefit fee. It was that good. Shout out to Deborah and JD for taking care of us so well!! Deborah and one other gentlemen made sure that we always got the cuts of meat that we wanted. Deborah always made sure that we had enough cheesy bread and soft drinks, and last of all thank you JD for going above and beyond to take care of a newly pregnant member in our party. You didn't have to but you did. Thank you!!
(From March 2019) New Brazilian place in town! My cousin was in town, so we decided to check out this place. This was a few days before their grand opening. We had an early reservation, and when we got there, there was no one there yet. Fantastic service, the salad bar was fresh, and they make really good feijoada. The meats were very good, although I think because we were one of the first ones there, they kept bringing us meats that were a bit more well-done than we liked. I think once this place gets more popular, this will be less of an issue. Near the end of our meal, they brought out this AMAZING beef something or other - I think it was beef rib, was still on the bone. This is AMAZING. I wish they brought it out earlier so I had the stomach for it! The meats themselves were delicious, and the staff was accommodating in terms of getting us the cuts of meat we want. This place also is one of the FEW places that has cinnamon-crusted pineapple. The only other place I know that has it in LA (at least for churrascaria) is MGrill. Fogo does not have it, as far as I know. I think I ate the equivalent of an entire pineapple. It's magical. For dessert, we had the papaya creme. Throughout the night, we developed a good rapport with the staff, and Henrique (the owner) came by several times to check in on us. So I was amused to see a few of the staff, including Henrique, Sabrina, and Jose, crowded around something or other at the bar after we ordered the papaya creme. I went over to check it out, and they were making the papaya creme with fresh papaya and vanilla ice cream, and there seemed to be some sort of discussion. I asked if this was the first time they had made it, and they sheepishly affirmed this. As for us, we're honored to be the first papaya creme customers for H&H! Thank you for an awesome evening. We will be back!
I've never had Brazilian BBQ before and went to H&H for Valentine's Day. They had a prix fixe menu that day and a Hot & Cold bar where you could get salads, fruits, rice, etc. FLAVOR (4/5): 1. BRAZILIAN CHEESE BREAD / SPAGHETTI / MASHED POTATOES / POLENTAS / GOLDEN BANANAS: These were the sides they provided - they were all decent but I preferred the golden bananas the best. They were the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The cheese bread was also really good; I loved the chewy texture. 2. MAMINHA (TRI-TIP): I tried all the meats, but wanted to call out the standouts. The tri-tip was one of my favorites. Seasoning was great! 3. GRILLED PINEAPPLE: The grilled pineapple was the standout of the night. The cinnamon and brown sugar elevated this to another level I didn't even know was possible. I could probably eat the entire skewer. SERVICE (5/5): Service was good! Each customer has a card that says "yes" on one side and "no" on the other side. Meats will come by every once in a while (like dim sum) and if your card is flipped up to a "yes" they'll stop by your table. AMBIENCE (5/5): The decor is nice and I can see this being great for both small and large parties. PARKING (2/5): The street that H&H is on is very busy, so valet was swamped by the time we arrived and there was no room to pull over. It's also $15, so we parked at a nearby lot for $10 (the one on 7th and S Hill St). TAKEAWAYS: Overall I enjoyed my time at H&H! It was a good introduction for me to Brazilian BBQ. However, my friend mentioned that she prefers Fogo de Chao better. Since they have the Hot & Cold bar, you also can't bring anything to-go.
